Explained eligibility rules and process;
Explained how house was EXEMPT asset, so that both Community-based Medi-Cal and LTC Medi-Cal benefits could be received by Owner, without conveying it out;
Explained by example how to communicate with a senior about Medi-Cal eligibility issues, answer real property questions, as proposed and as transacted; about communications with seniors and disabled persons about Medi-Cal and SSI eligiblity issues.

Professional opinion: real estate transaction (outbound conveyance) of exempt asset was NOT legally necessary to establish Medi-Cal eligibility of elderly owner/plaintiff.

Judgment for elderly Plaintiff; title returned (no loan).
